My mouth started drooling as soon as I saw your picture. I have Mr. Neal’s cookbook and had read the recipe over and over but I am not a biscuit maker. Do the words Ellie Mae Clampett bring up any ideas? Alas, I am on a diet and have lost 1/2 of my goal weight so in order to make this recipe healthier I made a granola topping. I am positive that the granola soaked up all calories from fat!

Look at the top of the cobbler dished in the bowl — you’ll see a reflection of the camera and my hand! So, certainly not professional, but I was pretty pleased overall. And the cobbler was pretty good, too!
