Phil Evans was the first. He’s pretty talented, but may not have been the greatest manager. Paul Kellum came and quickly left. The food I ate coming from his kitchen was really not that good.

This is a super hotel with a great dining space, but it has lacked the top-level talent it deserves. I’m really crossing my fingers that Chef Crawford makes this a true dining destination.

We went for bunch on my birthday and weren’t all that impressed; for the price and the branding of the hotel I was expecting much more. It wasn’t awful, but like said based on their reputation I was expecting much more.

That said, I have a $175 gift certificate burning a hole in my pocket so I’ll definitely go try out the new guy!
